The St Lucy’s Parents and Friends Association (P&F) provides an opportunity for all our parents and carers to participate in the life of the School. We are very grateful for the commitment, enthusiasm, generosity and energy of our P&F.

St Lucy’s P&F promotes friendship within the St Lucy’s community through both year group and whole school functions.  Every St Lucy’s parent is automatically a member of the P&F and membership is also open to members of the wider community. The P&F develops warm relationships within the School community and provides volunteer and financial support to St Lucy’s. Class parents in each year group organise social, friendraising events and assist in the planning of the P&F program.

A strong relationship and open communication between home and school is the basis of St Lucy’s partnership with parents. The P&F supports and promotes the interests of the School by bringing parents, and staff into close cooperation.

The P&F works for the benefit of the School and raises funds to provide additional educational, therapy and recreational facilities for students.

The P&F welcomes and supports new parents, provides a forum for consultation on significant issues, and promotes St Lucy’s to the wider community. The Association also hosts information sessions on subjects of interest to parents.

Meetings are held twice a term in the evenings at 7pm.
