St Lucy's School

A community enriched by difference

All Abilities Theatre Project

The St Lucy’s All Abilities Theatre Project, began in 2007, as a program that would bring our students together with students from mainstream schools through theatre. The program introduces students to each other’s talents and builds friendships through a rich and engaging creative process.

The Project is directed by professional actors who deliver drama training including play building and stage craft. It has two companies: one, for primary aged students, and one, for secondary aged students. The companies work in parallel and often collaborate on theatrical pieces.

Theatre Project takes place on Monday afternoons during term time in the St Lucy’s Creative Arts studios. The Project currently has no available places but there is a waiting list for students to join. We endeavour to bring all wait list students into the project within a year of their expression of interest.
