The role of the Therapy Aide at St Lucy’s School is to work under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist and the Head of Therapy to implement a range of therapy activities within classroom, playground and community environments with the students at St Lucy’s. The Therapy Aide is part of the school’s Therapy Team, which includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Behaviour Support services.
The successful candidate will be honest, reliable, punctual, and have a high standard of integrity. They will also have good time management skills, a strong ability to collaborate in a team, an interest in continual learning and development, solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to build capacity in others, a strong sense of responsibility and initiative, and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Also required is a commitment to fostering the spiritual development of children in a Catholic environment.
Experience delivering therapeutic or educational programmes to children with disabilities, First Aid qualifications, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Boardmaker are required.

Salary dependent on experience.
