At St Lucy’s School we offer a number of in-house therapy services to ensure that we can overcome barriers for our students accessing and actively participating in all aspects of the curriculum.
The services provided do not aim to replace therapists who are already working with students outside. The focus is on facilitating success at school, and most of the work is alongside school teaching staff working with students as part of their normal school day.
We recognise the importance of consistency across settings, and with appropriate consent from our students’ families, we are keen to collaborate with other therapists who are working with our students to ensure consistency and the best educational outcomes.
Different types of therapy provided
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Pathology
• Positive Behaviour Support
The therapy team also run a number of workshops throughout the year available to the St Lucy’s community. Visit our events page to see what is coming up.
